Believe In Change

Believe In Change

Author’s Note: This essay is about Ponyboy Curtis and how he is a Dynamic Character

Ponyboy Curtis is s very dynamic character for a lot of reasons. These examples will help you realize why he is.
First off Ponyboy becomes friends with one of his enemies. He is part of the Greaser’s gang and they despise the Socs. The Socs are rich people. Ponyboy becomes friends with one of the Socs which changes the Greaser’s mentality. Also Ponyboy is the youngest Greaser and the shiest of them all. He isn’t social but towards the end of the book he begins to stick up for himself.
Secondly Ponyboy talks to a Socs. When they are done talking Sodapop asks Ponyboy why he was talking to a Socs. “He aint a Socs he’s just a man who wants to talk,” quoted Ponyboy.
Ponyboy and I are alike because we both become friends with some of our enemies. He became friends with a Socs and I became friends with two of the kids from North Shore Soccer Club. They played futsal with us and when I started talking with them I realized that they aren’t as bad as they seem.
That’s why Ponyboy Curtis is a very dynamic character in “The Outsiders” as am I in real life.
